Global Community eXperience is building a digital representation of Los Gatos within a self sustaining 21st Century "community building" model. This template can be applied to other venues, towns, counties, regions, states, nations and to the entire global community.

Los Gatos eXperience was the starting point for this global community network. Funded entirely through its Sponsors & Advertisers, a business model has been designed to meet the needs and budgets of local participants, so any business in any small town or community can afford to participate. This following sample ratecard has been created for the Town of Los Gatos in 2002. Rates may vary depending upon project scope and scale.

    Participation within the Los Gatos eXperience Business program includes:

  • A directory webpage on the Internet: As part of the comprehensive Los Gatos X web presence, a stylized template webpage is offered to local businesses to "tell their story" as part of a multimedia community directory.
  • Businesses can further promote their products and services or make their websites more robust through integrating a GCX community eCommerce store, a presence in the "Virtual Walkabout", use of interactive calendars, threaded discussions, chat, Instant Messaging, and more,.. Presently a virtual world is being constructed with Adobe "Atmosphere's" which will be populated with Haptek Avatars.
  • webCD: A multimedia "Millennial webCD" presentation introduces a seamless integration from a users desktop to the internet. The CD includes FREE photo sharing software allowing users to create their own photo enhanced webpage and a direct connection to our servers to share photos and stories. A mix of other software and a complete suite of community building tools are included.

Multimedia Advertising

    Business Membership: LGX Membership includes up to 4 photos on LGX member page, hosting, database linkage in subcategory, search engine marketing, and more. $250/ yr. or $25/mo. Check out sample or ORDER NOW.

    Basic Digital “Web Story 1” includes capture / edit up to 12 pictures organized into 1-2 additional LGX web pages. $495 set up or $50/mo.; plus $50/year or $5/mo. for hosting. Check out sample or ORDER NOW.

    Panoramic Movie: A 360º Panorama movie clip will be captured and edited using Quicktime Virtual reality and IPX technologies. The resulting presentation will be presented on the website and CD, with annotations and linkage available within movie. Movie clips will be linked from Business page and also become part of a high profile, LGX feature "channel" entitled the "LGX Virtual-walk-a-bout." $500 per nodes. Check out sample or ORDER NOW.

    Streaming Video: A streaming video movie clip will be captured, compressed, edited and presented on the website as a streaming video clip and also on the webCD as part of the "Streaming video movie "channel." includes capture, edit and upload.     eCommerce Community Store: A secure, eCommerce community store offers local businesses a cost effective way to present their products and services to the local community which can include photo and description. LGX webCD eCommerce entries will link directly to the online store purchase location.

    Interactive Calendar: A powerful, interactive calendar system allows a business to schedule and post events, classes, and other relevant timely information, as well as invite individuals through its integrated e-mail system. LGX has a special branded location that will link and help market these calendars and also offers training to the company to set up and maintain their own calendar.

LGvX Community Sponsorship

    Sponsors are being sought to represent each category location of the LGX site. These pages, and subsequent spin-off pages will link directly to their LGX directory page, which links back to their company website. Sponsors can choose a Gallery focusing on a specific aspect of life in Los Gatos. This can also be customized for relevance and positioning within the community. A Sponsor Gallery will catalog all LGX category pages. Sponsors will be crossed linked at a high level on the website, and also represented prominently in the LGvX virtual world being built and on the LGvX webCD.

LGvX Millennial webDVD 2002

    LGX Millennial webCD will include the entire LGX website with additional higher resolution images, sounds, panoramic and video clips giving any even deeper impression of the community. An Atmospheres virtual world will be contained on the LGX webCD. A number of other interactive software elements will be included, as well as players and plug ins needed to run the technology used. To have a business included on the CD become an LGX member and choose any services above. Or become a distribution sponsor and take advantage of branding your company along with this proactive community project.
